EXTENDED LEARNING PROGRAMS

After Hours University (AHU)
AHU is an extended learning program, taking place after-school for students in 4th– 6th grades at Pierce, Lincoln, Lawrence, and Coolidge Corner Schools. All programs take place 3 days per week, and include an enrichment activity following HW support through PSB STS HW Centers.  Recent enrichment activities include: STEM activities with BU Bioinformatics dept, Life Science with Brookline Rec, Underwater Robotics, and Financial Literacy through Junior Achievement.

Teen Advantage (TA)
TA is an extended learning program, taking place after-school for students in 7th and 8th grade at the Coolidge Corner and Lincoln Schools. HW support through PSB STS HW centers happens 3 days per week, and once per week, students stay an additional hour and a half to plan and implement a student developed and executed Service Learning project.
