Steps to Success, Inc. (STS, Inc. or STS)

Steps to Success (STS) began as a joint initiative between the Brookline Housing Authority (BHA) and the Public Schools of Brookline (PSB), and has since evolved into the independent organization that it is today. A 501(c)(3) non-profit, STS, Inc. provides out-of-school support for youth and families including afterschool programs for students in grades three to eight, academic and career support services for high school and college students, and leadership development and social services support for parents and caregivers.

Public Schools of Brookline (PSB)

Steps to Success, Inc. works in close collaboration with the Public Schools of Brookline (PSB) to provide an integrated network of support for youth and families. Steps PSB advisors are based at Brookline High School, Florida Ruffin Ridley, Lawrence, Lincoln, and Pierce, and can assist with questions related to communication with classroom teachers, clinical staff, and administrators, school-based activities and extracurriculars, and STS’ Extended Learning Programs (AHU and TA).

Brookline Housing Authority (BHA)

The Brookline Housing Authority (BHA) is also a core Steps partner, with safe and affordable housing being foundational to the ability to thrive. The BHA manages LIHTC, state, and federal properties, and administers vouchers through the Section 8 program. More information about BHA resident services can be found here.
